Bangladesh’s ties with the European Union (EU) go back to its early days in the 1970s when the country was born after a nine-month war. The EU has been one of Bangladesh’s major development partners ever since, and is arguably its most important trading partner. The bilateral relations, growing stronger over the decades, have moved beyond assistance into diverse fields such as science, technology and blue economy.
The symposium will be part of the Cosmos Foundation’s ‘Dialogue’ series, in which the panel of renowned experts will be tasked with keeping the discussion insightful and relevant, before the floor is opened up to the participation of an informed and engaged audience.
