Joint Secretary of Awami League (AL) Jahangir Kabir Nanak said corrupt people are hatching conspiracy in the name of forging national unity to hamper democratic process of the country.
Patriotic citizens of the country should be united to resist the conspiracy for the sake of democracy, he said this on Friday while speaking at a discussion on the premises of Krishi Market at Mohammadpur in the city. The discussion was organised marking the 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has emerged as a global leader for her dynamic, bold and charismatic leadership, he said, adding under her leadership, Bangladesh has witnessed remarkable development. Nanak urged the people of the country to extend their supports for continuation of the ongoing development process to build an economically advanced country.
