Coronavirus may spread in Bangladesh any time too, informed IEDCR Director Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora.
“But it is not a matter of panic,” she said at a press briefing held at the Directorate General of Health Services in city’s Mohakhali area on Saturday.
She said, “So far 111 people have been tested in the country, but none tested positive for coronavirus. Those who came from the virus-affected countries and also bearing the symptoms of the coronavirus should be advised to avoid public transports.”
Meerjady Sabrina also advised the people to contact with the hotline number of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), if needed.
She added that the people who have respiratory problem should go to hospital for medical test.
