A special corona unit has been launched at Chitalmari Upazila Health Complex at a personal initiative of Bagerhat-1 MP Sheikh Helal Uddin at the cost of 63 lakh taka.
From the very beginning of the third wave of corona, the upazila has been stocked with essential corona unit including central high flow-oxygen system, 20-bed specialized corona unit, VIP cabin, ICU patient monitor. 8 trained doctors and nurses have been kept ready to provide round-the-clock services to Corona patients. All types of modern medical services are being provided at the Upazila Health Complex sans ICU ventilator facilities for the only critically ill patients.
