Although the rate of corona infection was declining for some time, it has suddenly started increasing. In the last 24 hours, 153 people have been identified as corona in Chittagong.
Health officials say that since the advent of the vaccine, there has been a reluctance on the part of the public to follow the rules of hygiene, which is one of the reasons for the increase in coronary heart disease.
According to the Chittagong District Civil Surgeon’s Office, 1,456 people were newly infected with corona in Chittagong in the last 14 days of this month. Besides, 1,711 samples were tested in Cox’s Bazar Medical College Lab and 6 labs in Chittagong on Sunday (March 14) and 153 corona were identified.
A total of 36,556 people were infected with corona in Chittagong.Chittagong Civil Surgeon said.
Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said, “The vaccine does not mean that we have conquered Corona. We must adhere to hygiene and use masks because the only tool to prevent corona is to use masks and adhere to hygiene. “Meanwhile, so far 3 lakh 80 thousand 267 people received corona vaccine in Chittagong. Last Sunday, 5,919 people were vaccinated. Of these, 3,792 are in the city corporation area and 2,127 in the upazila.
