Corona hits entertainment industry: Big projects including Sooryavanshi delayed

Since the hazardous Coronavirus rhapsodically continues to spread, the vulnerability of the situation has forced many upcoming film projects to be delayed due to life threats to people and economic losses to producers/makers because of the closedown of theatres in Haryana, Karnataka, and Delhi. The precariousness is also in arrears of suspending productions too, many Bollywood films to reschedule their release dates according to many reports. Recently due to the outbreak of this pestiferous virus the team of Suryavanshi has declared a delay in its release date by sharing a note on Instagram.
The upcoming action film Suryavanshi, of Rohit Shetty, is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta, and Rohit Shetty. It is the fourth instalment of Shetty’s Police Universe and features Akshay Kumar as the titular character opposite Katrina Kaif. The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Vivan Bhatena, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise’s previous films. Initially, the schedule for release on March 24, the film was indefinitely postponed due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.
Not just Bollywood the ebullient virus has also largely affected the Hollywood film industry as well, the other movies that have declared to hold up and delay the film dates are: No time to die MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time to Die will be postponed until November 2020.
