Police have pressed charges against a former Jamaat-e-Islami MP and 234 others in a court over the murder of four policemen in Gaibandha last February.
Sundarganj police OC Mozammel Haq on Monday informed the media of the chargesheet being filed on Thursday.

Islami Chhatra Shibir had run amok in Sundarganj Upazila on Feb 28 last year after its leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee was sentenced to death for war crimes.
They torched the Bamandanga Railway Station, uprooted tracks, and later attacked a police investigation centre in the locality, killing four constables.
