Members of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) detained a police constable along with 80 pieces of Yaba from Nabapalli Aichgati village in Rupsha upazila of Khulna district on Wednesday.
The detainee was identified as Nazmul Khan, 21, son of Nayeb Ali Khan of Tangail district. He was posted at Boyra Police Lines in Khulna.
Tipped off, a DNC team conducted a drive at the village and detained Nazmul along with 80 pieces of Yaba pills,
said inspector Hawladar Mohammad Sirajul Islam of DNC, Khulna, reports UNB. Nazmul was handed over to the local police.
