UNB, Comilla :
The police officer, who made the first inquest into the death of Sohagi Jahan Tonu, did conceal information in the report about injuries to her head, ears and nose, alleged her mother Anwara Begum on Thursday.
Talking to reporters at a hotel near the Comilla Cantonment, she said sub-inspector Saiful Islam of the cantonment police camp, also the first investigation officer of the case, did not mention about the wounds found on the back
side of Tonu’s head, nose and ears while making the inquest report.
“I along with my husband was present while making the inquest. The police officer took our signature in a blank sheet. Later, he sent false information to the doctor, who prepared the first autopsy report,” Anwara said.
