The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Wednesday asked the police to submit the probe report by February 23, 2016 in the case filed against BNP Senior Vice-Chairman Tareque Rahman for making derogatory remarks about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Magistrate Amit Kumar Dey of the CMM Court passed the order, as the Paltan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) did not submit the report yesterday the date of submission.

Projanmo League President Fazlul Karim Arif Patwari filed the case with Dhaka CMM Court against Tareque Rahman and BNP foreign affairs Secretary Jahid F Sarder Saadi for demeaning Bangabandhu, calling him a friend of Pakistan.
The case statement further says that while addressing a meeting in London on December 15, last year, Tareque allegedly called Bangabandhu a “Razakar”, a term which means collaborator of Pakistan Armed forces during the War of Liberation of 1971.
