Coordination meet for SA cricket series held

Chittagong Metropolitan Police authority held a coordination meeting on Thursday at CMP conference hall aimed at strengthening the security measures during the coming cricket series between Bangladesh and South Africa in Chittagong . CMP Commissioner Abdul Jalil Mondol presided over it while City Mayor and Vice president of Bangladesh cricket Board AJM Nasir Uddin attended it as special guest.
The special guest in his brief deliberations said national and international cricket matches including World T-20 cup held in the port city earlier and CMP has proved their efficiency in deploying the security measures with praiseworthy. He said during series period and selling of tickets at 4 branches of United commercial Banks in Ctg, additional police forces should be deployed in venue premises and bank booths.
CMP commissioner vows his utmost efforts to maintain the peaceful security measures during the cricket series .
The team members of South Africa and Bangladesh alongwith officials will arrive Chittagong on July 13 next and expected to play an ODI on July 15 next and test match from from July 21nest at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium , sources said. Senior officials of CMP including Additional police commissioners were present in the meeting.
