A convicted prisoner who had been serving a six-month jail term in a drug case died here on Friday.
The convict, Rezaul Karim, 50, a resident of Boidyanath village in Sadar upazila of the district, was being taken to Sadar Hospital after he complained of chest pain around 3.30pm and he died on the way to the hospital, said Jail Super Al Mamun.
