A new convening committee of Bijoynagar Upzila Press Club has been formed in Brahmanbaria.
An emergency meeting of the club on Wednesday morning decided to form a nine-member convening committee comprising journalists working in various print and electronic media in the upzila. Convener of the Press Club Md. Kamrul Hasan Shanto, Member of Secretary Md. Shafiqur Rahman Shahin, Join Convener SM Tipu Chowdhury, Md. Mohsin Ali.
The convening members are- Mostafa Kamal Sohel, Md. Selim Chowdhury, Md. Habib, Md. Tajul Islam, Sultan Mahmud Sarkar. The 9-member convening committee was unanimously approved in the discussion meeting. It was decided that the convening committee would form a full committee of the press club in the next 3 months in a democratic process.
