Reminiscence of the reputed elderly journalist of the port city M Obaidul Hoque was held at Chittagong Press Club hall on Thursday with Press club President Kalim Sarwar in the chair.
Press Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury graced the occasion as chief guest.
In this connection, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said legendary journalist Obaidul Hoque was a son of the soil and passed his entire life thorugh objective journalism profession .
H e is one of the nationally reputed journalists and his dedication to the journalism profession is praiseworthy and unforgettable.
Late Obaidul Hoque worked in this profession for the last 40 years and holds different posts in the CUJ and Ctg Press Club time to time.
Chittagong Union of Journalists and Chittagong Jouralists Co-operative Housing society Ltd jointly organised the condolence meet .

After end of the reminiscence, munajat was conducted praying salvation of the departed soul by the Principal of Patiya Fazulbari Fazil Madrasa AnowarulIslam Khan,sources said.
