A private container depot of Sitalpur under Sitakunda Upazila in Chittagong confined for five hours by the cadres of Chatra League and Jubo League on Friday .
The activists of the ruling party confines the BM Container depot from 7 am to 12 noon. During the confinement period, the exist and entry of consignment from the depot remained suspended.
Chief Executive of BM Container depot Brigadier(Rtd) Ziaul Haider told that the local activists of Chhatra Leage and Lubo League demanded tolls and they confined the depot failing to pay tolls to them.
Sitakunda thana police sources said local chatra league activists demanded contracting work inside the depot and following the successful discussions over the matter, the confinement was withdrawn from 12 noon, sources said.
