A consultation meeting on an upcoming project to enhance the capacity of universities to promote youth entrepreneurship in Bangladesh was held at Senate Hall on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.
DU Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center organized the discussion on the sixteenth instant about the project titled “Capacity Building of Universities in Bangladesh to Promote Youth Entrepreneurship (PYE)”, involving different stakeholders, said a press release.
DU Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of the ICE Center Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman joined the consultation as the chief guest with ICE Center Vice Chairman Prof Dr Khondoker Bazlul Hoque in the chair.
The objective of the project is to improve the environment for potential youth entrepreneurs through the capacity building of Bangladeshi universities on entrepreneurship education.
Under the initiative of the education ministry, the project will be implemented by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the DU in association with the Korea Cooperation International Agency (KOICA) and other leading public universities and relevant stakeholders.
