Besides, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy or anyone else went to the press club and said in another motions that we have no right to speak.

General Secretary Chowdhury of the Press club Chowdhury Farid delivered the welcome address at the conference chaired by Press Club President Ali Abbas and moderated by Joint Secretary Nazrul Islam. Former President Abu Sufian and Kalim Sarwar spoke on the occasion, Vice-President Salauddin. Reza, BFUJ vice-president Riaz Haider Chowdhury, Chattogram Journalists Union president Mohammad Ali spoke on the occasion.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina nurtured a culture of appreciating criticism. The information minister also said that in fact the media is the fourth pillar of the state.
If one of the pillars of the state does not work properly, then the foundation of the state is destroyed. With this in mind, Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina has been contributing to the freedom of the media, so that all of us can work independently with the media and live a comfortable life. He said the pens of journalists did not stop when everything was closed during the Corona period. We have noticed that when a crisis situation arises in the country or in the world, a quarter can use it to create instability in the society, to spread fear, to create instability in the society by spreading rumors and spreading false news.
But the mainstream media was very careful and worked hard so that rumors would not spread and false news would not create unrest in the society.
