A construction worker was killed in electrocution in an under-construction building at city’s Patharghata area on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Liton, 32, hailed from Kishoregonj district.
Liton was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live electric wire while working at an under-construction building at Noju Meah Lane under city’s Kotwali thana around 2pm, said Nayek Mohammad Hamid of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost.
He was rushed to CMCH where attending doctors declared him dead.
