A worker died after falling from an under-construction building at Bhattara in the city on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Wajed Miah, 50, from Bauphal Upazila of Patuakhali District.
He was working at an under-construction building at that time.
Arif, colleague of the deceased, told media, “He accidentally fell from the building while working on the 3rd floor. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), but doctors declared him dead at 10:30 am.”
Bacchu Miah, In-Charge of DMCH police outpost told the media that ‘post mortem will be done.
