A construction worker died and another was injured from electrocution in Nabab Para of the district town on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mujaffar,22, son of late Adam Mallik of Dakkhin Muradia in Dumki upazila.
Witnesses said two workers came in contact with a snapped electric wire while working at the building of one Hasem Munsi in the area at about 5:00 pm.
They were rushed to 250-Bed General Hospital where doctors declared Mujaffar dead.
