A construction worker was killed yesterday after falling from a multi-storied building at Motijheel in the city.
The deceased was identified as Md Khokon, 38, son of late Kunu Mia, a resident of Paglabari, Mohakhali under Banani Police Station. He hailed from Ugalkanda village under
Banchharampur Upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
The incident occurred around 11.50am while he was fitting glass on the 13th floor of 20-storied NCC Bank building at Towenbe Circular Road, said Sub-Inspector Jamal Hossain of Motijheel Police Station.
He was rushed to emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where on-duty physicians pronounced his death. A natural death case was lodged in this regard.
