A construction worker was killed while working in an under-construction building at city adjoining Nangol Mora area of Hathazari upazila of the district on Tuesday .
The deceased was identified as Shahidullah, 28, son of Jalal Ahmed, hailing from Nangol Mora village of Hathazari upazila. Police said Shahidullah fell down from a three-storey under-construction building when he along with another worker was working in the building at Nangol Mora area of Hathazari upazila of the district.
Critically injured Shahidullah was rushed to the Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctors declared him dead, police said adding that the body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
