The construction work of 75 RCC bridges on different rural roads in six upazilas of the district are progressing satisfactorily.
Relief and Rehabilitation Department is implementing the project at a cost of Taka over 19 crore. According to the district Relief and Rehabilitation office, of the total bridges (length between 33 to40 feet) under the project, 15 bridges are on different rural roads in Sadar upazila, 3 bridges in Polash upazila, 9 bridges in Shibpur upazila, 18 bridges in Monohardi upazila,13 bridges in Belabo upazila and 17 bridges in Raipura upazila.
