Infra-structural development and construction work of the Chapainawabganj PTI Complex was inaugurated on Sunday.
Law maker of Chapainawabganj sadar constituency Md. Abdul Wadud inaugurated it as chief guest.
The inaugural function was held on the PTI premises with the superintendent of the PTI MHM Ruhul Amin in the chair.
Among others, deputy director (Finance) of the Primary Education Department Sheikh Md. Raihan Uddin, additional district magistrate (ADM) of Chapainawabganj Ershad Hossain Khan, Chapainawabganj sadar upazila engineer ANM Wahiduzzaman and journalist Shahidul Huda Alok spoke on the occasion.
An amount of Tk. 99,26,000 has been allocated for the construction of a hostel building and internal link roads, maintenance of academic building, installation semi-deep tube well and supply of furniture under Primary Education Development Project (PEDP)-3 project.
On the other hand, an amount of Tk.76,10,000 has also been allocated for the construction of two pre-primary class rooms, a car garage and a men hostel, maintenance of the quarter of the superintendent of the PTI and earth filling under the same project, concerned sources said.
