State minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury on Monday said construction work of the infrastructure of Ramgarh Land Port will start soon, “The government plans to start construction of infrastructure of Ramgarh Land Port in Khagrachhari,” said Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury after visiting the Ramgarh Land Port site in Khagrachari District.
The state minister also said under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina the country has witnessed unprecedented development in the last 13 year and her leadership has found a place in the world assembly, reports BSS.
Khalid said under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina Bangladesh has gone from poor to middle income country.
The development of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has astonished not only the country but also the world, he added.
Land Port Authority Chairman Mohammad Alamgir, Kharachari District Council Chairman Monsui Pru Chowdhury and project director of Ramgarh Land Port construction project Sarah Alam were present, among others.
