Chittagong Bureau :Chittagong Patenga-Bandar Development Forum(BPDF) formed a human chain in front of Katgar crossing near CEPZ in city on Friday evening demanding construction of flyover from Shah Amanat International Airport to Barik building aimed at mitigating the traffic congestion in this route. The speakers in the human chain said hundreds of thousand people are residing in this area of Patena and Bandar and regularly facing the congestion problem. They also said one critical patient cannot reach the only public medical college hospital beyond two hours whereas the distance from patenga to medical hospital not more than 8 or 10 kilometers due to traffic congestions. Among others BPDF convenor Nezamuddin, Ziaur Rahman, Mahbubul Alam, Ismail Hossain, Tajuddin etc were present in it, sources said.
