The process for acquisition of land for building large CSD godown in Naogaon district has started recently .
It is the own district of Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder . He has initiated the process of acquisition of land in Naogaon district.
District Food Department has sent a letter to the Food Department to determine its estimated value for the acquisition of 25 acres.
According to sources, Food Department, will start work soon after acquiring of land . It is reported that the district’s food department has begun the acquisition of the CSD’s land on the western side of the cold store of Abdul Jalil, a former MP, former minister and former general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League , about eight kilometers south of Naogaon. District Food Controller GM Faruk Hossain Patwari said , “We are going to start building CSD very soon. If the value of land acquisition has been determined by the higher authorities, we will start the construction of the CSD after completing the acquisition process .
