Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam on Wednesday said a vested quarter is planning every day to attack Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through adopting various strategies.
“BNP is a party of conspirators and killers who always hatch plots how to destroy Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League leaders,” he said. Syed Ashraf, also the Public Administration Minister, said this while addressing a discussion organised by Jatiya Sramik League at the city’ s Mohanagar Natya Mancha marking the August 21 grenade attack.
Mentioning that BNP had never wanted and supported the Liberation War, he said, “What’s the great
sin of Awami League and Bangabandhu? And that is separating Bangladesh from BNP’s adorable Pakistan. They (BNP) will never be able to forget that shock (losing Pakistan) and are trying every day to take revenge for that ….that’s effort is going on and will continue.”
