Customs officials have seized a consignment of 23 rolls of fabric imported from India with false declaration on Sunday. The consignment was seized from Shed No. 22 of the Benapole Port.
The accused importers have claimed that the product is not theirs. The importer of the consignment is Spectra Solar Park Limited. The consignment was tried to taken out of the port to customs evasion. Manifest number of the consignment is 26536 AH (23).
According to Benapole port sources, the Indian truck entered Benapole port last night.
Rakib Hossain, a representative of C&F Agent Royal Royal C&F Pvt. Ltd, unloaded the truck to the Shed No. 22 in the port.

Touhidur Rahman, proprietor of Royal C&F Pvt. Ltd., a representative of the importer, said, A group use their name in the invoice of Imported product. We don’t know about the incident.
