To ease the communications of the commuters of South Raozan to visit Chittagong city within a minimum time and expense, a bridge connecting Kachukhain point of Raozan and Mohra in Kalurghat over Halda River will be constructed soon .
The project of the bridge taken in hand under feasibility study . Moreover proposed plans of South Raozan includes railway track upto CUET campus, Fire service unit , food godown, and proposed Islami University.
He also declared that a new police station will be set up in South Raozan . He further declared that about 3 lakh saplings of different species of trees will be planted within one hour in coming rainy season in the entire upazila.
He also apprised that school feeding was introduced in 182 primary schools of the upazila in the meantime.
He disclosed it while addressing the scholarship awarding ceremony as organized by Aslam Smriti Foundation at Noapara, South Raozan as chief guest yesterday. In two days long programs of the ASF, the chief guest distributed scholarship money to students, extended medicare facilities and distributed mosquitoes among the locals.

President of Chittagong Press club Kalim Sarwar, Bureau chief of Protom Alo Bishajit Chowdhury, journalist Omar Kaiser, Bureau chief of Channel I Chowdhury Farid, Poet AktarHossain,Noapara UP chairman Alhaj Didarul Alam, West Guzra UP chairman Shahabuddin Arif, and Urkirchar UP chairmanAbdul Jabbar Sohel spoke on the occasion as special guests.
Among others, Officer incharge of Raozan thana Kefayetullah, President of Noapara school managing committee Jafar Ahmed, former councilor Samimul Islam Samu and local elites were present , our Raozan correspondent sources said.
