Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport authority has requested the passengers not to travel abroad within seven days from the date of infection with the Opthalmia.
Ophthalmia (also called ophthalmitis) is inflammation of the eye.
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Executive Director Group Captain Mohammad Kamrul Islam, confirmed about the directives.
As per the notice it has directed the passengers if anyone of them has complexity over visa or going abroad on emergency basis, have to take necessary medicines as per prescription from a BMDC registered physician.
Moreover, the Opthalmia infected passenger must have to wear sunglass before entering the Airport.
Health department officials of the airport will give these passengers fitness certificates for travelling abroad after scrutinizing their documents, the notice said.
