A condolence meeting and Doa Mahfil on Professor SM Azizul Haq would be held today at 10am at Rezaur Rahman auditorium of Dhaka University’s AF Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban.
Prof Haq passed away on April 13 last in Boston, USA.
In 1949, he joined the Mathematics Department of Dhaka University and retired in 1982. He served as hall provost, faculty dean and department chairman of the university.
He was the founding president of Bangladesh Mathematics Society.
