A condolence meeting on journalist Moazzem Hossain Chowdhury was held at the office of Dhaka Journalist Housing Cooperative Association (DJHCA) in the on Friday.
DJHCA President Ruhul Amin Gazi chaired the meeting addressed, among others, by Mofakhkharul Anam, Ziaul Haq, Syed Didar Bakht, Afzal Hossain Palash, Motahar Hossain, Rafiqul Islam, Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Nurul Huda, Akram Hossain Khan, Shahjahan Majumder, Quaiyum Khan Milon, M Bashir Ahmed, Mobarak Hossen, Moslem Uddin Ahmed and Hasanuzzaman Khan. Moazzem Hossain Chowdhury, also a valiant freedom fighter and staff of now defunct The Bangladesh Observer, died of a cardiac arrest on February 28 last. He was also joint secretary of the DJHCA.
