Senior bankers urged their fellows to acquire proper knowledge on computer hardware and networking for infusing dynamism into their professional activities.
In the present challenging era in banking sector, importance of computer and its networking has been mounted to a greater extent. So, there is no alternative to gather adequate knowledge on the issue to gain professionalism.
They were addressing the closing and certificate-giving ceremony of 12-day training on “Computer Hardware and Networking” and “Credit Risk Management” here on Saturday. Some 40 officers of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) joined the course held in its training institute.
RAKUB Managing Director Kazi Sanaul Haque addressed the session as chief guest with principal of the institute Ataur Rahman in the chair. Senior Faculty Member Md Arifuzzaman and Faculty Member SM Ahsanullah also spoke.
The Chief Guest said the field level bankers should be more competent and efficient to face the newer risks and challenges in the credit sector.
The grassroots bankers could be the vital means of elevating living and livelihood condition of the rural masses including the poor and marginalized.
