BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said it is possible to compose an epic about massive terrorism, unprecedented irregularities and vote rigging which are currently taking place.
“Fourth phase elections to 55 municipalities held across the country. Like the previous round of elections, yesterday’s election was also occupied by armed terrorists of Awami League. Their violence was unprecedented in all polling stations which turned sanctuaries of terror. It is possible to write an epic about massive terrorism, unprecedented irregularities and vote-rigging which are currently taking
place,” said Rizvi at a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office on Tuesday.
Criticising the Election Commission for its role, the BNP senior joint secretary general said, “The Election Commission does not bother the criticism that has arisen at home and abroad over the vote of lawlessness.”
“The government has formed the Election Commission in its own form. Thus, the mafia character has a profound effect on the behavior of some election commissioners, including the chief election commissioner. Violent vote robbery is inspired by the current Election Commission.”
Rizvi further said, “KM Nurul Huda cares little about democracy, elections, fair voting. Even after the unilateral election, the number of deaths due to bloody violence is increasing.”
