Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Shamsul Arefin said, Bangladesh is the abode of Muslims, Hindu, Buddha and Christians and the communal harmony of the country is really praiseworthy .
He said we all belief in respective religious faith but religious festivals are observed jointly. He also told that country is progressing fast including economic uplift and with this continuity, the country will be turned into a middle income country by 2021.
Deputy Commissioner was addressing the Bani Archana, Kirthon, religious assembly at Binajuri Durga Mandir under Raozan upazila in chittagong as chief guest. UNO of Bandarban Mr. Srijon chowdhury, UNO of Raozan Md. Shamim Hossain, Senior Asstt. Judge Manisha Mohajon, Asstt. Commissioner of Land, Raozan Mr. Junaid Kabir Sohag, UP chairman Sukumar Barua were present on the occasion as special guest.
The chief guest also visited the Binajuri UP complex and exchanged views with the Chairman and UP members of the union .Earlier Deputy commissioner holds meeting with the officials of the Raozan upazila at upzila hall room with UNO Md. Shamim Hossain in the chair, freelance correspondent Mr. Aslam sources said.
