Household utensils have been distributed among the fire victims of Alkaran ward area in city on Monday.
The incident of fire occurred at Alkaran Dobash colony of Ferighee Bazar on early morning of October 23rd last where at last 50 Kancha and semipucca houses gutted into ashes. The residents of the fire affected houses now staying under open sky , fire brigade sources said. Meanwhile Bishajanin Shanti Sangha of Chittagong instantly distributed household utensils to the fire victims .
On behalf of the chairman of Bishajanin Sangha Principal Dr.Abdul Karim , Central Joint secretary of the Sangha Dr. Anjan Kumar Das handed over these essential commodities and to concerned Women ward councilor Nilu Nagh aimed at distributing the commodities to the victims. Chairman of the Sangha urged upon the affluents to come forward beside the victims, a snagsha sources said.
