Commemorative meeting on founder of Chattogram Homeopath Medical College & Hospital and noted philanthropist and social personality of the port city was held at Kazir Dewri college campus recently .
He established of a deluxe residential hotel of the city – Hotel Miska in station road of the city before emergence of Bangladesh. President of the Homoeopathic college teachers association Ln Dr Gopal Bhattachariya presided over it.Divisional govt representative of Bangladesh Homeopathic Board Dr Saleh Ahmed Suleman graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
President of Islam Khan Smriti Sangsad Dr. M Anowarul Ahsan was the principal speaker in it. Dr. Amaresh Barua chowdhury, Dr. Golam Hossain and senior medical officer of the Hospital Dr. Bibi Marium were present as special guests.
Mentionable that for the welfare of the common people, Late Islam Khan established Homoeopathic Medical college, charitable dispensary, Homoeo research centre, Madani mosque , Forkania mosque, at Love lane at his owned land , two musfirkhanas at Makkah and Medina before his death.
