Popular comedian Md Rashed Rana Pappu passed away. He died after taking his Sehri meal on Monday night at his residence in the city’s Lalbagh area. He was 47. He left behind wife Nipa and only son Abir.
He was buried at Azimpur graveyard after Johr prayer yesterday. Maternal uncle of Pappu, Javed informed that four months ago, Pappu was admitted into hospital due to heart related complications. Recently he didn’t take part in any show for his physical condition. He was decided to go to physician for physical check-up.
Pappu was one of the popular comedians in the country. He will alive among the viewers’ minds by his performance in once BTV’s popular magazine Shuvechchha and a TV commercial of Molla Salt.
To entertain people, was his main motto.
