Chief Justice (CJ) of Bangladesh Syed Mahmud Hossain called upon Rotarians to come forward to implement welfare programmes to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh.
He said it at the national conference of Rotary International District 3281 at the BICC auditorium of Dhaka on Friday morning.
Representative of Rotary International President Dr. Girish Gobind Gune, District Governor of Rotary AFM Alamgir, Governor (Elect) Khairul Alam, Governor (Nominee) Md. Rubaiyat Hossain, Governor (ND) Mutasim Billah Faruqi, President of the Conference Isitiaque Ahmed Chowdhury, District Secretary Iqbal Hossain spoke, among others, at the programme.

Are Liberation War Affairs Minister Mozammel Haq, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and State Minister for Disaster Management Dr. Enamur Rahman.
Chief Justice said that Rotary is playing vital role in serving humanity as the leading social service organization in the world. Role of the Rotary in various fields, including education, health, are absolutely commendable.
Foreign Rotary leaders of the country spoke on various issues in different sessions of the conference. They presented the Rotary Projects Conference in different areas of the country and presented the future action plan. Rotary leaders from all over the country participated at the conference.
