Colombia will play an international friendly against Saudi Arabia in Spain next month, the South American country’s football federation (FCF) said on Saturday. In a statement, the entity said the teams would meet at the Enrique Roca stadium in Murcia on June 5. It added that U-20 head coach Hector Cardenas had been appointed the Cafeteros’ interim manager as the FCF seeks a replacement for Reinaldo Rueda. The latter was sacked in April following the team’s failure to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar later this year. Saudi Arabia have been drawn in Group C of football’s showpiece tournament alongside Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
