Three people were killed and 30 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Kanalghat area of Goalondo upazila on Sunday morning. The deceased included two bus drivers. Details of their identities could not be ascertained immediately. AKM Nasir Ullah, officer-in-charge of Goalondo police station, said the collision took place on Daulatdia-Khulna highway in the area around 11:30am, leaving the three people dead on the spot. On information, police rushed to the spot. The injured were admitted to different hospitals in Rajbari and Faridpur.– Rajbari, Aug 23 (UNB)
