A college teacher was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants at Erulia in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Azizar Rahman, 52, an assistant professor of Hazradighi School and College and son of late Nazabat Ali of Thaipara in Kahalu upazila.
Police said, a gang of 4-5 criminals in a microbus waylaid Azizar on Erulia-Dogaria road at around 10am on his way to college by a motorcycle.
Later, the attackers stabbed the college teacher indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Police suspected that miscreants killed Azizar following an enmity over land-related disputes.
