Miscreants killed a college student at Radhanagar of Pabna town on Tuesday night.
Police arrested a man in connection with this incident.
Deceased Mishkat Mishu, 24, was a student of Chemistry Department of Pabna Government Edward College, and son
of Golam Mostafa, an Assistant Professor of Pabna Government College and resident of Sibrampur, Pabna.
The victim’s family members said that miscreants called out Mishu over phone on his college premises at night around 9pm when he went out for his private tuition.
They stabbed him indiscriminately there and left the spot leaving Mishu critically injured.
Seriously wounded Mishu was rushed to Pabna General Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Gautom Kumar Bishwas, Additional Police Super of Pabna said they picked up one Jim, 23, instantly at night in connection with the killing incident.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy, the ASP said.
