Miscreants stabbed to death a college student at Dumurkhali village under Monirampur upazila in Jessore on Saturday afternoon.
The dead was identified as Sabuj Hossain, 17, student of higher secondary class of Bankra Degree College and son of Akbar Hossain of Dumurkhali village under Monirampur upazila.
Rakib Hossain, brother of the dead told that Sabuj was declared dead by the attending doctor at Jessore Medical College Hospital after he was rushed there on Saturday afternoon. He was rushed to Monirampur upazila health complex after being stabbed by Golam Mostafa and Jasimuddin of Dumurkhali village earlier.
Sub inspector Ramjan Ali, in-charge, Jhanpa police camp told that Jasim and his brother stabbed to death the college student over sudden feud.
Dr Abdur Rashid, attending physician, Jessore Medical College Hospital told the victim died for excessive bleeding before he was rushed to the hospital.
No case was lodged and none was arrested.
