A college student was shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Coin Bazar in Boraigram upazila of Natore district on Friday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Amin Hossain, a student class XII at Dhanaidah College , reports our local correspondent quoting police.
Amin was going to Coin Bazar area by a motorcycle when three people intercepted him at Mukimpur village near Coin Bazar and opened fire at him around 5:00pm, said Dilip Kumar Das, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Boraigram Police Station.
Amin died on the spot and the culprits immediately fled the scene taking his motorbike, he said.
On information, police went to the spot for investigation, the OC said .
The body was sent to Natore Sadar Hospital for an autopsy, he added.
