Police recovered the body of a college principal from a residential hotel at Dhopadighipar area in the city on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ferdous Wahid Budhu, principal of Sylhet Tibbia College and Secretary General of Bangladesh Unani Association.
Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Mosharrof Hossain said the Principal checked into Hotel Anurag in the area around 8pm on Friday.
But finding no response from him on Saturday
morning, the hotel authority broke open the room and found the principal dead on the bed.
On information, police recovered the body at Room No 229, that he was staying at, and sent it to Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
He might have been killed by a stroke, added the OC.
