Staff Reporter :A college girl was allegedly gang-raped at a house in the city’s West Shewrapara area on Saturday morning.The victim is a first year honours student of Dhaka City College and inhabitant of Badda area in the capital, said Md Salahuddin, Officer-in Charge (OC) of Mirpur Model Police Station.She was admitted to the One-stop Crisis Center (OCC) of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in the afternoon for forensic tests, the police official said. Police also arrested three miscreants in this connection. Of them, two were identified as ‘Rokey and Shipon’. The identity of the others could not be known immediately, he said.The police official said that the victim went to a house No-511, West Shewrapara from her coaching centre with one Shakib.She was gang-raped there. They also captured the photos of the rapescene, the OC said. Police are hunting for Shakib and another Sabbir, he said.The arrested persons are being interrogated in this connection, the OC said. “We will clear the matter after getting forensic report,” the police official said. A case had been filed in this connection, he said.
