A college student was died in a boat accident while outing in Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila. The accident took place in Jashodal Bill of Kishoreganj Sadar on Saturday. At this time one of his classmates named Linda (18) was injured.
The victim was identified as Umm Amima (18) daughter of Hussian Miah, a student in Syed Ashraful Islam Women’s College in Kishoreganj town.
Talking to the relatives of the deceased, it is known that Umm Amima went to her uncle’s wedding in Jashodal Barakhalpar area of Sadar Upazila with her relatives. At around 11 am, she went for a boat trip with eight classmates to the nearby Jashodal Bill. After the boat had gone far, the water began to rise rapidly due to the hole in the bottom.
