The merit list for college admission results for the academic year 2016-2017 has been published.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced the result at a press conference on Thursday noon in his office at Secretariat.
Education Minister Nahid said that the public
and private colleges can accommodate 2.11 million students. That means around 700,000 seats will still be vacant.
“Everyone might not be able to go to their preferred colleges, but no one will be denied admission,” the minister said.
The admission seekers can check the results by logging on to www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd To get the results, students are supposed to provide their roll numbers and registration numbers of the SSC examination clicking on the upper tab of the two tabs. More than 1.3 million students applied for college admission this year.
